LAWLESS, ANNE ELIZABETH (nee Hindenlang) of Tucson, AZ on November 10, 2017 at age 91. Anne was raised in Rosedale, Queens, NY and was longtime resident of Freeport, NY. Loving wife of the late Harvey. Devoted mother of Michael (Judi), Kathleen, Mary (Michael), Thomas (Melissa), John (late Marybeth), Peter (Phyllis), Paul, Frank (Janet), Patrick (Lisa), Eileen (Peter), Joseph (Ellen) and Daniel (Tonya). Loving sister of the late Ruth Deppisch and William (Bill) Hindenlang. Adored grandmother of 25 and great-grandmother of 16. Proud alumna of Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School, Brooklyn, NY. Anne retired from the Village of Freeport, where she pioneered word processing. She served as a Regent in the Catholic Daughters. Anne met Harvey, her husband of 54 years, soon after WWII. At the time, Anne worked at the American Stock Exchange. Both were intensely devoted to their faith. When dating, they often met before work to attend Mass at Saint Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan. They married and lived in Queens Village and Dallas, TX before settling in Freeport, NY. Services Thursday, November 16, 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Hungerford & Clark Funeral Home, 110 Pine St., Freeport, NY (corner of Pine St. and Ocean Ave.). Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 17 at Our Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 87 Pine St, Freeport, NY at 9:30AM. Burial at Calverton National Cemetery.
