George N. Bowman of Freeport on April 6, 2021. U.S. Army Veteran. Retired Guidance Counselor for Hempstead School District. Beloved husband of Teresa. Loving father of Kelby, and Lisa. Dear son of the late George N. and Marie Bowman Johnson. Fond brother of Alcene Bowman, Tjaunna Johnson, and the late Claude Johnson, Henry Johnson, Barbara Johnson Norris, Donald Bowman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will recieve friends on Monday April 12th from 4:00 - 7:00PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday April 13th at 9:45AM at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary RC Church, Roosevelt, N.Y. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. During this unprecedented time, and in compliance with guidelines stipulated by the Centers for Disease Control and the NYS Department of Health, we are forced to limit attendance at visitations, memorials, and funeral services to 50 people or less. Our staff may ask mourners to wait outside the chapel, outside the funeral home, or to keep their visit brief so as to allow others an opportunity to mourn. While in the funeral home, we are requesting all visitors to wear a mask and to limit physical contact such as hugging, handshaking, or contact with the face.
